The Morgans are an exploration of the medium of ceramics. They were all made in the same way (hand built), and fired using the same glaze in the same kilns. The noticeable differences are due to the amounts of glaze applied, the method used to apply the glaze (some brushed on, some dipped, some poured), and where they were positioned in the kiln. They are a family of pots with references taken from all around the world, from tribal forms used on some and the Japanese raku technique used on all. They work as a team to showcase what happens in the kiln and how glaze can affect their surfaces.
